trying to get any hospital records, or casualty information about. 202583 pte, Samuel Mason, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, wounded around April 1918,

cannot find a S W B. for him either.

This info is from the Pension ledger, available from Fold 3 which I can't access.

Name:Samuel MasonRecord Type:CardService Number:202583, 4354, 1727, Corps, Regiment or Unit:Royal Welch FusiliersTitle:WWI Pension Record Cards and LedgersDescription:Other Ranks SurvivedReference Number:3/Mm/11897

Medal Roll and Card have an additional number, 11354.

He may not have applied for the Silver War Badge

Forces War Records https://www.forces-war-records.co.uk/namesearch/?FirstName=Samuel&Surna… has got an entry for him, but without registering (which is free) it's hard to say whether they have much additional infomation about the actual hospital where he was admitted. The QARANC website https://www.qaranc.co.uk/WW1-Medical-Records-Soldiers.php indicates that FWR may have admission and discharge dates.
